This guide is packed with easy-to-follow instructions to help you save our private Google Map to your own Google Maps account, and it's a breeze - just three easy steps!

Just a little heads up: You'll need a Google Maps account to save our shared maps. However, once you have it saved, you can access the pins from any device that's logged into your account. So whether you're on your desktop, phone, or tablet, you're good to go!

So, guess what? We've made it super easy for you! Just a few simple clicks and you can access our private Google Map with all the locations already added.

What are Google Maps locations?📍

By downloading our Google Maps Locations for a state/country, you can easily spot our personalized travel tips on your Google Maps, whether you're on your phone or laptop. The best part? Anytime we add more exciting places, your map gets automatically updated.

What device can I use this on?📲

You can easily access the map from any device that supports Google Maps. Make sure you're logged into that Google account on your device when opening our map, and voila! You'll be able to load the map in no time.

What is the difference between pinned Google Maps and My Maps?🗺️

Google offers two types of pinned maps. The first, My Maps, is a separate platform that allows for custom layers and pins to be added to Google Maps. This platform is visually appealing, offering customizable pins for pre-trip planning. However, it can be less than ideal for real-time use during travel.

On the other hand, locations can be pinned within the Google Maps app itself, displaying only blue pins (our maps). These pinned locations are accessible when downloading offline maps and provide useful location details such as opening hours, reviews, and images. Custom notes can also be added to each pin, much like My Maps.

We find this version of pinned maps more useful for on-the-go travel. It's easy to select a pin and navigate in real-time, unlike the less user-friendly My Maps. Even though our version of pinned maps do not display unique icons for restaurants versus attractions, we believe the ability to select a nearby pin in real-time during your travels is far more valuable.
